Magic Johnson ran off Paul Westhead a decade before this.

    Zero idea what that means.

Did Bird have Fitch run off?

So is that the subtle thing that pushed Jordan over the top? Was it not meddling in coaching and player decisions and accepting Phil and Winter's triangle offense?

Would Jordan have beaten the Pistons if he continued to play hero ball? Maybe? Would the Bulls have decimated everything the Western Conference threw at them? Maybe?

Wilt really only ran off Neil Johnston and Butch Van Breda Kolff, both of whom were championship-level assholes by widespread acclamation.

I think the entire team ran off Mike Schuler in Portland, justifiably so.

I never mentioned anything about a player running off a coach. For those who didn't read it properly the first time, my point was having a superstar -- undisputed best player in the league -- saddled with a GM that often made decisions that went against the player's wishes.

I’d prefer that you explain yourself. Still waiting for an answer on the SI thread.

There is nothing confusing about my statement. You may think I'm wrong or mean or whatever, but it's not a confusing statement.

Haven't watched a second of "The Last Dance." Lived it. Ratings grab by ESPN. No thanks.
