    He also needs to define himself. Right now, Mike Pence has no identity except that he's conservative. He's never had his name on a piece of legislation that held any significance. His policy credentials are...nil. He's a nobody. He'll likely win the gubernatorial race because he's built solid name ID across the state, not just in his district, though a conservaDem like Bayh could make it a race.

    Like every other decent republican candidate, he's preparing for 2016.

    Looks that way, though it's too early to be certain.

    The Dem '92 nom looked like refuse, early on, but Bill gave it a run . . . and
    then Poppy had a problem with the reading of the lips, and voila.

    True. Although hoping to find the next Bill Clinton might be a bit ambitious. I think if they think they can't win, they're going to sacrifice Mitt.
