    My Swimsuit Issue hasn't left the kitchen table. Hasn't been opened. And the wife hasn't said "that's disgusting" or "that's sexist."

    The issue is all but dead.

    I remember getting it as a kid and I'd have sworn every mailman employed with in 15 miles took it home for a day first. It showed up in rough shape.

    This year's is pristine. Even the postmen are sick of them.

    And no, the swimsuit issue just doesn't mean as much anymore, even since I first got it as a teenager in the mid 90's.

    Since I'm a Pats fan, I had no interest in last week's SI. Topped with the fact that i breezed through the most recent issue of Entertainment Weekly, that meant I had nothing to read while taking the Browns to the Superbowl yesturday (I.E. pooping).
    So, I read through the swimsuit issue. Overall, not bad.
    I was more interested it from a photojournalist perspective because I love good art, but I thought the self-portrait shots were cool and I really enjoyed checking out the pricetags for some of these suits. Did you guys know it's possible to spend over $600 on a pair of bikini bottoms? Man, for $600, those trunks better make my ass look spectacular and cook/clean my house.

    Regarding the mailman reference earlier and how they were rumored to rummage through the issue every year, delaying delivery....
