    I've always wondered about that. Seems like a lot of people take up table space at Starbucks et al with little to no purchasing going on.

    I often walk into places and use the washroom before I order. Since I'm there alone I have nobody to watch my stuff and I really don't want to carry my latte into the bathroom with me. Nobody has ever given me a hard time about it.

    Human decency again; I try to get ahead of it and tell the "barista" before I help myself to the john, "I'm going to buy my beverage, but I need to go to the facilities first." If you're nice at the start, no guarantees, but your chances of success increase dramatically. And its not that hard to be nice.

    I'm glad I don't like coffee. And even if I did, I sure as shit wouldn't by that waaaaay overpriced Starbucks coffee.
