Hey, my Hurricanes finished this season just like they finished last season: With a win. And this one was a helluva lot more exciting because it was in overtime. :)

    EASTERN CONFERENCE
    (1) Buffalo vs. ( 8 ) N.Y. Islanders: Islanders in seven (Nolan works his magic; Smytty delivers ;))
    (2) New Jersey vs. (7) Tampa Bay: Devils in six (One word: Brodeur)
    (3) Atlanta vs. (6) N.Y. Rangers: Rangers in six (Better, but not because of Avery)
    (4) Ottawa vs. (5) Pittsburgh: Pittsburg in six (Welcome to the future)

    WESTERN CONFERENCE
    (1) Detroit vs. ( 8 ) Calgary: Calgary in six (Detroit is the NHL's Notre Dame, the benificiary of a weak schedule)
    (2) Anaheim vs. (7) Minnesota: Anaheim in four (Picked them to win the Cup before the season)
    (3) Vancouver vs. (6) Dallas: Dallas in six (Vancouver is the softest team in the post-season; too many Euros and visors [/doncherry])
    (4) Nashville vs. (5) San Jose: San Jose in five (Forsberg is a no-show; Thornton and Co. are too dangerous)

    The Blame Game.

    JFJ should be turfed.

Raycroft shows how important elite goaltending is for mediocre teams.

They have no one to blame but themselves, starting from the top.

EDIT: JR, what do you think of the new anchor on TSN?

I'll be rooting for Nashville for one reason.
If they're in the Cup Finals, I might get to see them when I visit Nashville in July. ;D ;D ;D

Leah Hextall. She debuted last night/this morning. She's from Winnipeg. I can't decide if I like her voice or not. She hasn't stumbled, I'll give her that. As for her looks: Average.

Side note: Ryan Smyth is awesome. That guy bleeds maple syrup. Did you hear him lamenting the fact "being from Canada I know how tough it is that another Canadian team got knocked out of the playoffs" after the Isles won.

Isn't that the same time as the NBA conference finals?
