    People who are picking Calgary to beat Detroit shouldn't be doing so on the basis of toughness. Aside from Iginla, the Flames have the softest group of forwards in the playoffs. The Red Wings are grittier up front than they are. If Zetterberg is hurt worse than we know, that's a problem.

    But the Flames are soft. This is not the 2004 team.

    Perhaps. And then again, maybe its because the Red Wings have the worst history of first-round flameouts (no pun intended) since Arizona-DePaul-Iowa in the NCAA basketballtourney
