    (1) Buffalo vs. ( 8 ) N.Y. Islanders: Buffalo won season series, 3-1
    (2) New Jersey vs. (7) Tampa Bay: Tampa Bay won season series, 3-1
    (3) Atlanta vs. (6) N.Y. Rangers: Atlanta won season series, 3-1
    (4) Ottawa vs. (5) Pittsburgh: God bless BBJ and frieds, who won season series, 3-1

    WESTERN CONFERENCE
    (1) Detroit vs. ( 8 ) Calgary: Season series tied, 2-2
    (2) Anaheim vs. (7) Minnesota: Season series tied, 2-2

    (3) Atlanta vs. (6) N.Y. Rangers: Rangers in six.
    (4) Ottawa vs. (5) Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh in seven.

    (1) Detroit vs. ( 8 ) Calgary: Calgary in six. Easiest playoff pick. Calgary will beat up the Red Wings. Again.
    (2) Anaheim vs. (7) Minnesota: Anaheim in seven.

    Pens are going to be interesting to watch. Are they the Gretzky Oilers for the 21st Century? Or are they a team that never wins a Cup because of the cap-enforced parity?

    Clearly, you haven't seen the Rangers since the Avery trade. They are playing gritty hockey and Lundqvist has been great in nets. They'll beat the Thrashers.
