Proval is a scary frickn' dude. Saw a rerun of "Everybody Loves Raymond" the other day where he was playing the owner of a pizzeria, and it kinda freaked me out.

USA Today rehash of tonight's get-together at Radio City Music Hall...

It's taking everything I've got to NOT read spoilers about the first episode. I can't wait, and then I can get back into my routine of reading the column in the Star-Ledger the next day -- a must for fans of the show in my opinion.

Like everyone else, I feel like this show has fallen off a bit. But if they don't bring the Russian(s) back this season it will take it to a new level, and I won't look back at this show the same way. That could have been, and should have been, a huge storyline. You don't just attempt to whack a mobbed-up Russian, have him live and nothing ever comes of it. They absolutely need to revisit that storyline.

When did that come out? And even if that's the case, wouldn't that cause more of a war... or has the Russian mob never been able to find out who killed him, and just said "Oh, forget it."

It was never said, it's my interpretation.

Chase is foisting some of the lurking doom his characters feel on the audience.

The russian won't come back. Just my best guess.

How do they leave Mikey GQ out of the montage?

Valery? He's in the death montage linked above.

He's listed, as are the others, by character name and episode number.

    Valery
    Episode #37

And then, seconds later, it changes to:

    Valery
    Episode #37?

    Chase is certainly teasing us.

Why would the Russian come back now? That seems too hokey and soap opera-ish.

    Bullshit.

There was no car and no body in the middle of a freshly fallen snow.
