I have found the reporting on this issue to be particularly shitty, even given how bad the quality of economic/business reporting in sports is. Articles seem to report single year compensation that each side puts forth without allowing for any context. I have read about the differences in the compensation structures that the men and women have negotiated, but have never read anything about differences in FIFA or CONCACAF payments, which I would assume are the greatest difference in revenue produced.
