    It will be good to see an unknown player score 28 goals the year before he flops in the EPL.

    I always though Rooney, while being a great player in his own right, made those around him better too, which isn't always true with many great players. Very unselfish as well.

    Rooney always hustled and has great field vision. You could see why moving him to a deeper role made some sense.

    On the play in question, truly terrible from the GK.

    On one hand Afonso Alves and Mateja Kezman, on the other Ruud van Nistelrooy, Dirk Kuyt, Wilfried Bony, Luis Suarez, Memphis Depay....

    Memphis belongs on the other side of the ledger. He was all stepovers, no results for United. And Jozy was a major EPL bust as well.
