With the EPL about to kick off, let’s get this party started. My prediction:

    Liverpool
    City
    Spurs
    Arsenal

Watford have already won more home matches in the 2022-23 Championship season than they did from November 2021-May 2022.

I’m a Nottingham Forest supporter this season. I hope they can stay up.

1-0 Fulham at the half. The way you know you are at a Deep South Liverpool watch party is someone compares it to an 11:30 Jefferson Pilot game with Kentucky taking an early lead on a still-asleep favorite.

Amazing that Tim Ream is starting in the EPL. I would have pegged him for a return to MLS years ago.

Truly, the kind of skillful defending that can only come from someone trained in a country with a proper footy culture. Would that our benighted lands one day reach this level of elegance and sophistication.

Championship update: My Hornets are top of the table, seven points out of nine against presumably some of the better sides in the league -- Sheffield United, West Brom and Burnley. Promising start. Dennis and Sarr will probably leave before the end of the window, but the Pozzos actually signed some decent forward talent so as long as Watford can get fair compensation, I'm fine with it.
