    I noticed it last week, and it caught me off-guard. After roughly 15 or 16 years, they finally changed up the opening credits for The Simpsons. They still have the same older stuff (the couch, the blackboard, Lisa's sax solo) that changes week to week, but there's a lot more little sight gags in there now.

    That kind of humor is definitely not for everyone.

    I like it. It's understated, slow-paced, and dry, and a breath of fresh air from the frantic humor of the other three shows. Bobby's one of my favorite television characters.

    I'm a big fan of tradition, but the new credits are fantastic.

    It was changed due to The Simpsons being launched in HD for the first time last month. Animation looks much more crisp too.
