The Seattle Times is looking for an Assistant Sports Editor. Specific duties TBD. As an Assistant Sports Editor, you will oversee coverage on multiple platforms in one of America’s most vibrant sports cities and regions. Successful applicants will prove they have a clear, creative vision for sports coverage, with developed sports knowledge, and ability to set an agenda for regional coverage. Additionally, this role calls for a leader who can passionately and professionally lead a team of reporters in a multi-platform coverage plan, with “outside-the-box” enterprise mentality, to grow readership through integrated digital, photo/video, and graphics story-telling.
