The Sarah Palin e-mails

What have they done to her? Well, insinuated her new baby was really her daughter's, sent a ton of investigators to Alaska when she was named as McCain's running mate with the intention of digging up dirt, called her nice names like a "pussycat" and the slew of other things Chris Matthews, Keith Olberman and Ed Schultz have called her, openly recruited civilians to go through these emails to dig up dirt, etc. They have been brutal to her since the first day she came on the national scene, and if you say they haven't been you are lying. If they would have given Obama 10 percent of the attention they gave Palin, if they would have sent those investigators to Chicago as well as Alaska, we probably would have a different president.

 

Take the blinders off. It helps.

 

Why so PC? Don't you hate the victim culture? A nation of wimps if they can't handle a little political elbow throwing, I say. Stop whining.

And Carlton, it seems like she was a good political prospect who got brought up from Class A ball to start in the Majors, and it just did not work because she needed more seasoning.

After Jay's post, I have a higher respect for her. It looks like she actually is smart and hard working. What I do not respect is the character of herself that she has created for her base.

Like I said, name a mainstream media source who started the baby rumors. Not some guy in a basement.

Investigators to Alaska? Well, yeah. Except for die-hard political junkies, no one outside Alaska had ever heard of her prior to becoming McCain's running mate. It's called scrutiny. It's the job of a free press. You don't want politicians to come under scrutiny? Move to China.

Called her names? Please. It happens to every politician, regardless of party affiliation. The last president not to be called names was George Washington, and even he got ripped on when he was a general during the Revolution.

Civilians to look through e-mails. Well, there's several thousand of them, and as you probably know, most newspapers have cut back on staff.

Or become a Democrat. Can you honestly say, during the 2008 campaign, that Barack Obama got anywhere near the same level of scrutiny that Sarah Palin received?

The "free press" was so busy trying to dig up dirt on the Republican vice presidential nominee that they somehow failed to look into quite a few issues with the past of the Democrat presidential nominee. The free press failed to do its job during the 2008 campaign season and everyone knows it. The only time it looked into things like Rev. Wright was when it had no choice. Instead of addressing the key point of the "Joe the Plumber" story, the so-called "free press" tried to dig up dirt on the plumber instead of finding out what Obama meant about what he said.

This is not even worth discussing. Everyone knows what happened. If you questioned Obama you were attacked as being racist. The media did not come close to looking into his past as thoroughly as it should have...the only people who deny this are just being willfully ignorant. Obama got a free pass while Palin got torn apart. Like Hannity said, the media died in 2008. Like Hannity or hate him, he hit this nail right on the head.
