The Ringer has 19 people writing about the NBA

And not one of them is African-American.

Well, to be fair, how many African Americans care about the NBA or have any expertise there?

 

They wanted to hire Rembert Browne and Greg Howard, but then they landed on the Shitty Men in Media List for being serial sexual attackers.

 

Still, that's a year ago.

No one available for the Ringer to hire since then?

 

It's interesting, because the lack of an African-American stands out, but at the same time that's a pretty diverse list of people.

 

Sexual predators don't magically get a pass after a year.

 

But this definition of writing about the NBA, they just need to hire Wesley Morris back for his NBA fashion columns.

 

What in the world is there for 18 writers to write about? (I'm sure some of these are once-a-week types.)

 

But presumably there have been other African-American writers available to hire.
