    "Creamed spinach, yo."
    "No."

Love the new interns. Both Ed (Human Giant guy) and Denise were on episodes of Flight of the Conchords last year. Denise's character is really funny. "Wow, it's kinda emotional in here. You guys keep this up, eventually you'll all get your periods on the same day which is kinda cool."

Am I alone in thinking that Denise is the female Dr. Cox?

Is it just me, or was Colonel Doctor in almost every other scene of that first episode?! What the Hell? No love for Dr. Beardface?

Not quite. She's similar in that she's emotionally handicapped, but she doesn't appear to be the narcissist that Cox is (for instance, talking about how she began to hate herself while doing the "Chubster"). Cox also isn't a womanizer, while she appears unafraid to take anyone home to do the hibbity dibbity.

Perhaps a mash-up of Kelso and The Todd?

OMG, Denise and The Todd together? I think my head would explode.

Damn, you really must be a fan to pull out that reference. Well done.

I don't know what to make of the janitor firing. I mean, they actually introduced another janitor in the second half hour, then did nothing with him ... anybody hear anything about the actor leaving the show?
That would really mess up the whole vibe.

I'm sure he'll be back. Wouldn't be the same without The Janitor.

    According to Hollywood Reporter:
    *SPOILER, SPOILER, SPOILER*

    And, apparently, he's getting married.

  11. Janitor will still be around and we learn his name in the finale per Lawrence's interview with EW's Ausiello.

Overall, two dang good episodes. Reminded me more of the first few seasons, which was good.

    I forecast....
    FAIL.

Dopey Dad is not the role for him... and I don't want to see another Patricia Heaton "mom" on TV.
