The Return of 24 On FOX

Well, this season has hit the trifecta for enemies to the US: Muslim terrorists, Russians and Chinese.

 

Throwing the Chinese into the fray was a nice twist.

 

That was a Chinese aircraft carrier if I heard it correctly. So the Chinese are going to be a little pissed.

 

"Full immunity isn't on the table. But your hand is."

They've given Jack some great lines this season.

 

Agreed and he has delivered them well.

 

Loved the finale.

So glad Audrey is finally dead. I couldn't stand her.

Also, loved the scene when Jack finally got to Cheng. That rivaled the ax to the chest and the throat-biting as possibly the best Jack kill of the entire series.

Also, this pretty much ensures there will be at least one more season. I'm good with that.

 

I hope they bring it back exactly the way they did it this season. It's nice to have new episodes of a show like this during the summer.

Yeah, the 12-hour jump to the denouement worked perfectly. The biggest weakness of 24 in the past was when it entered stretch mode at least once a season. Didn't have to worry about anyone getting amnesia or stalked by a mountain lion this time.

 

Yeah, as much as I love the show, I think most seasons have a 4-5 show stretch where things slow down considerably, or there is a side story that adds little, if anything to the main plot. That didn't happen at all this season.

 

Watched the finale this morning. It was incredible.

William Devane's last lines were heartbreaking. And the last scene with Jack and Chloe was perfect.

Well done.

 

One of best hours ever of TV for me anyway.

 

Yeah, I love the show and it certainly sounds like it's coming back.
