When does the rioting start in Ferguson over the treatment of Ray Rice?

NFLPA: there are more important principles than not punching your defenseless fiancé in the face, twice. She is past this, so should you.

How could the PROSECUTOR not get him into jail after seeing that?

Remember too that she was charged initially as well. Welp.

I thought he was indicted, pleaded not guilty and was set for a trial. ... But hey got him to agree to one of those pretrial intervention programs, instead. The system is backed up and they want to avoid the costs of trial. For someone with no record, isn't that kind of deal typical?

So, you don't think her actions in the video are criminal? What about provocative? We can all agree that she at least owed Ray an apology, right?

Hard to believe in Ray Rice any longer.

Yes, Rice was charged with third-degree battery and pleaded out. Got probation through pre-trial diversion.

As to why he wasn't prosecuted more vigorously, I can only guess it's because he didn't have a lengthy record beforehand. And because the Atlantic City DA probably has 15 unsolved murders on the docket that took priority.

I wonder what people expected. We already knew he had knocked her out cold. Did people somehow expect it would be less brutal?

This is what domestic violence looks like.

All that moral equivocating, for nothing.

He's too busy trying to shut down Enoch Thompson's bootleg biz.
