The Rand Paul plagiarism accusation is absurd

My argument would be that nobody (at least with an IQ above 20) thought Paul was trying to pass off a summary from a 16-year-old movie as his own. Hell, Gattaca didn't get this much publicity when it came out.

And, as a practical matter, he looks ridiculous, as Maddow reads the wiki entry, then plays his speech. It's word for word.

And, the thing is, is just as likely he had no idea, and that a staffer wrote it up for him. And, that's almost as bad.
