The President did not offer Air Force One to Landon Donovan

Twin Cities radio dude Dana Wessel joked on Twitter that Obama offered Air Force One to Landon Donovan. San Jose Mercury News uses that as the basis of a story.

FishbowlDC then writes story mocking San Jose Mercury News.

But in doing so, calls Dana Wessel "her," when Dana's a he.

    Some tweets from Dana:
Can the Irony Police stop by and rule on this one, too. Is Fishbowl's mistake ironic? I think Dana was also a bit perturbed by this line in the Fishbowl story:
When it comes to the president...watch what you say still holds, apparently.

    I don't care if Dana Wessel is a guy, he's still a 6.

Well, it is pretty crappy journalism to build a whole story around a tweet with no attribution at all.

Kind of par for the course these days though, where people in the media spend more time "feudin'" with other journos than actually taking someone on who actually matters.

Reminds me of a State Farm commercial:

    "She sounds hideous."

"Well, she is a guy, soooooo"
