Other than the issue I have with Cuba Gooding Jr. being a few inches shorter and probably 50 pounds lighter than O.J. was at the time, I thought the first episode was solid, but the look ahead to future episodes was what really looked good.

    Anybody else watch?

Why didn't they get Tom Cruise?
Hell, they let him play Jack Reacher.

My brother said Cuba looks a lot more like Marcus Allen than OJ.

Have not watched yet (my wife is working the early shift this week and couldn't stay up that late), but I also was worried about Cuba as O.J. In addition to his physical stature, Gooding's voice is also so soft and squeaky, I'd worry he can be menacing enough.

They'd have been better off going with a semi-unknown in that role.

  5. Travolta and David Schwimmer?

Travolta was terrible, but overall I liked it.

I liked it, too, but Cuba is too short and squeaky to play OJ.

I figure I am going to watch this a few times just to remember how uproarious the real-life version was.

Probably save the Rosa Lopez episode on the DVR for all time.

I find the presence of Travolta distracting.

When it's eventually revealed that OJ has CTE, will that change the public's opinion of him?
