    and, say, jordan won six titles without help from other all-stars/hall-of-famers? guess what, it's a team game.

    Would have been very curious to hear what Ed Sherman said to the hed writer afterward. Or if he was in on the process of choosing that hed.

    Wonder what the headline would say if he played in New York? Or London? Some places are famous for crucifying their hometown sports stars.

    Man, I don't know if they'd get that much stronger, even in the tabloids, than "Mr. Unreliable." That's quite the indictment.

    James winning it this year would be pretty damn impressive.

    And, yes, every championship team needs a great, HOF player. I also think Billups is very underrated.

    Yeah, too bad his management was unable to do that for him. He had to take it upon himself to create a championship team.

    Yes, it's a team game. Jordan made those around him better. Magic and Kareem made those guys around them better. Durant makes his teammates look better. LeBron went and found a team of All-Stars to tag along with.
