    I wondered about that, but why would they book her on DUI (particularly with everything else she could and will be charged with) without a breathalyzer or field test?

    Yes. And I stopped drinking soda a few years ago. So I'm with Mikey Bloomburg, No Sugary Drinks for Anyone.

    Depending on the state, she could be charged with DUI if she refused to take a breathalyzer at the scene. Not saying it happened here, but that is one way it does happen.
