    First, because I like the taste.

    Second, because humans are upright and repressed and need alcohol to relax and feel comfortable around other people.

    Did you see the part where I said that punishments would be increased if it was over .10? The reason why I made it slightly less is that you would have drunk drivers claiming that they felt fine, or that they weren't aware that they may have gone just a bit overboard. .10 is an extra drink beyond officially being drunk. There should be no excuse after that.
