    No thread on this?

I thought it was disappointing, especially for a season opener.

I laughed a lot. As usual.

My streak of never having watched an entire episode continues.

I thought it was good. Loved the different rumors Michael spread, and that Kevin and Andy both believed theirs to be true.
Stanley's reaction at the end was awesome as well.

Then why post on the thread about the show?

I missed a lot of last season, but I enjoyed this episode. A bunch of laugh-out-loud moments. I think this harkened back to the first two seasons, where it was a different storyline each episode. I know the Pam-Jim pregnancy thing was a carryover, but Michael giving a rumor for everyone was pretty funny.

"I have a daughter, how can I be a virgin?"
    "I'm Alan Thicke."

I bet Michael had an awkward moment, and I'd like to think Jim played a prank on Dwight.

Because I can. Lighten up, Corky. I'm sure it's a funny show, but my schedule precludes me from watching it very often. I'm not going all spnited and talking shit about the show after watching every week.

The part about Alan Thicke I loved is that the kid looks like Matt Damon, so you were expecting him to say that ... but Michael goes somewhere else with it. Love it.

Angela Kinsey must have a lot of clout now. She was listed twice in the "starring" portion of the credits at the start -- at the bottom of three names
and then at the top of four names
on the next set of names.

What does this have to do with the premiere? Nothing really. It's just a small goof I caught.

Loved the little quickie scenes with Meredith:
-- In the bathroom when she's applying deodorant.
-- With the intern when she's squeezing her boobs into his back.

She's a riot. Wish she and Creed had more air time.

The conversation between Kevin and Andy in the break room while kidding Andy about drinking tea, not realizing the rumor he was gay, was hilarious. "Do you like it as much as you like MEN'S BUTTS?"

Also, Creed asking, after Jim and Pam announce the pregnancy: "Who's the OB-GYN?"
