    OK, so is the art school guy going to come into play with Pam as the season progresses?

    Or was he just a first-episode red herring to make you think something was going to go wrong?

    I suffered the same fate.
    Breezed in a five after 9 and my wife was already watching Grey's Anatomy. I took two beers and retired upstairs to play Doom and sulk.

    The art school guy seems somewhat like a blend of Roy/Jim. Looks like Roy, but personality closer to Jim. Thought he could become an obstacle.

    However, Pam is supposed to be there for 3 months, and they shot though like eight weeks in one episode. Seems so close to the end of school that maybe there isn't time for anything to develop with the art school guy.

    One more question. How did Pam get to be a Resident Assistant for a three-month program? Did I miss something? Is she staying longer? (Guess it was three more questions). It seemed like a random insert for her character, seeing as she is there for such a short time, and can't know much about the school to be an RA. That said, Jim sitting in the dorm lobby watching tv while Pam dealt with a crying resident cracked me up.
