I think the University of Maryland's ranking is hurt big time by the loss of three bars near the campus.

I hate it when the administration tries to push the pseudo-Ivy bullshit on us alumni.

Somewhere out there on the intertubes, sportschick is tipping back one or 10 in celebration of No. 1. And during the 1970s and 80s, Missouri used to always win the Playboy rankings. I guess the football team getting better meant less sorrows to drown.

LSU was No. 1 not that long ago. How do you drop out of the top 10? Believing your press clippings? No proven veteran presence or leadership in beer pong? GPAs go up? Kids start thinking about their future? Focus more on the results than on the process? Forget you have to drink for 60 minutes? Option teams move up, and you fail at assignment drinking? Princeton Review cover jinx? Too much parity?

Judging by West Virginia's rating, mattress burning is weighed heavily

You can't just throw your red plastic cup on the frat house basement floor and expect to win.

If the Daily Mississippian is one of the top 15 best college newspapers in the country, the industry doesn't have much longer to live.

What happened to the University of Georgia daily paper? That one used to always rank high.

That was also from the Princeton Review, by the way.

    More Bars, Less Bon Fires?

    Terps still 1st in Arson.

And any school that would start a riot after a Women's Basketball game must party pretty hard
