though there were more than one non-idiot aspring to join the fun bunch, regrettfully only one was selected in a super secret vote. I endorse the voting results and enthusiastically welcome our newbie.

In sports, as in life, there can only be one winner. In this case, there are a lot of losers. Which is why many of you are not being invited to join the No Idiots Allowed Football League.

Some of you really should look yourselves in the mirror and say the following: "I, (state your name), am an idiot."

Hence, you are thusly ineligible to join the NIAFL.

However, this decision was contentious, intense and much-discussed among the NIAFL membership. There were several worthy candidates, with finalists including Lugnuts, Ragu and Bubbler. As commissioner, I also must confess that I was particularly pleased with the applications of Oz and Rhody.

In the end, though, we have only one spot.

And, by the power vested in me by the NIAFL, and since I am the best player in said league, the newest member of the NIAFL is...
