They've had half a season to get that running game going. It ain't going to happen. It's all going to rest on Hasselbeck.

The Packers have the best defense, the Giants second best. So I pick Green Bay. Remember the Broncos-49ers Super Bowl? We might see a record blowout this year. Both the Colts and Pats today looked like the varsity compared to Green Bay's freshman team.

I think the Giants are best equipped to play either team.

They have the pass rush, the OL, the star RB, TE and WR....

It would be closer than XXIV.

Who is the Giants star RB?

For all that believe the NFC champ will be stomped in the Super Bowl, weren't the Jets supposed to be stomped? Weren't the Rams supposed to annihilate the Patriots?

One thing to watch: Getting through the AFC playoffs could prove pretty draining.

I think it was Merril Hoge earlier this week discussing this very question... he said the Packers would have no chance of succeeding against the Giants front four...

Uh, the Packers already beat the Giants this year, 35-13, on the road...

One too many hits to the head for Hoge.

Thing is....The Packers and Patriots both aren't as built for December and January as they are for Sept.-thru-Nov.

And, Brandon Jacobs is sure as hell a star RB. Albeit a fragile one.

Unfortunately, the two-week break should be enough to heal the Pats.

Oh c'mon, it's NOT going to be the colts. Peyton and Dungy are back.
