Home delivery for $2.99 a week. Should I take it?

How many hours do you think it will take you to do the job?

I mean, at that starting salary, you'll already be way under minimum wage, but at least you can put on your resume that you delivered the NYT.

I don't know, FMR, it's a bit of a risk. I mean, gas in NYC can't be cheap.
Plus have a McDonald's smell in your car from all the travel is one thing. But newsprint, too?
As the super fan from Varsity Blues would say: "Nah, nah, no good."

At least by specializing on the distribution side, you won't have to be associated with their questionable journalistic practices.

Shouldn't this thread be on the journalism board?

What happened to your billboard there, Freelance? Looks like Wesley Woodyard got hold of it, rolled over it and pulled on it.

Boy, they must be losing employees left and right. I also got that same offer this week. We could carpool and not waste gas and mileage.

I went to the University of Maryland and they stopped making similar offers to anyone with Maryland on their resume.
