    I would guess the disturbance would be a Sith Lord being taken out by someone who might not have ever been in the force radar.

    And the first movie clearly states the vader killed anakin....aka...if they can bullshit that..they can fake a promo.

    Oh, anything can be misdirection, but the undercover idea seems to be a bit of a stretch.

    It would be a seismic misfire if Luke went to the Dark Side. It would essentially render the three flagship movies irrelevant in many ways. They can't be that stupid.

    I think Abrams is too smart for that, but we won't know until the movie comes out. Maybe I'm just ready to assume the worst based on the prequels.

    I dunno. It depends on how they would justify it, explain what happened in the 30 years since Return of the Jedi that would make Luke turn. It could be the "I am your father" twist that Abrams may be looking for. There hasn't been a lot about Luke in trailers or in stuff online. That is all kind of a mystery. If it turned out Kylo Ren was being trained by another Sith Lord, and that Sith Lord turned out to be Luke, it would be a huge twist. It would have me intrigued.
