There's exactly ONE suspension bridge in the US that's longer -- the Verazzano Narrows in NYC. There are now a half-dozen others around the world that are longer.

The romance of the Golden Gate Bridge continues because it's so damn picturesque. I've never seen a bad view of it or a bad view from it.

Rough water, heavy wind, on a fault line.

    And, the perfect-looking bridge.

The Statue of Liberty is an inspirational site, especially for any Americans whose forefathers came to the US from distant lands. But I think the George Washington Bridge, the Empire State Building, and the Verrazanno Narrows Bridge all seem more impressive in terms of engineering accomplishment at the time they were built.

I think the Panama Canal should be one of the choices. I saw a documentary on the Pyramids in Egypt, and that seemed really impressive.

And yes, Rutt's Hut belongs on the list.

Any sewer system with enough ability to handle Phil Fulmer's bodily waste without breaking down is pretty damn impressive in my book.

    Oh, and there's this...

Not if you've met her. Visited Vegas last month, met her in the lobby at the WSOP. A bad face lift and way too skinny. Doesn't do it for me.
