    Two of my favorites lately: "Clean My Wounds" and "Albatross" by Corrosion of Conformity. Also been gravitating a lot to an old Metallica favorite: "Leper Messiah."

    Yep. And while I don't like their latest album nearly as much as the stuff they did back then, it has a few really good running tunes. "All Nightmare Long" is especially good to help wring a few extra minutes out of the end of a workout.

    When I was working out nearly every day, early Metallica was my Holy Grail, especially when I was squatting. Kill 'em All, Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning were great. I used an old school Walkman until a couple years ago when I finally broke down and got an MP3 player.

    The outro on Paradise City is fantastic for workout purposes as well.
