Slap Shot goes in the DVD player once a month if not more. Fletch and the oriiganl Star Waris trilogy are good for a couple of times a year.

The first DVD I bought was Gladiator.

The once a year showing is Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation (which was just this week actually) before I load up the car, drive halfway accross the country and spend two weeks with my family on the Jersey Shore.

For a long time it was "Willy Wonka" and  "Fletch" and "Bad News Bears" and "Breakfast Club" and "16 Candles"  ...

But then I bought "You're A Big Boy Now" and wore out the tape. Tremendous adventure in movie viewing. It was Coppola's senior thesis at UCLA.

Godfather, Diner, and one that I'm ashamed to admit to.

It sounds odd, but I've seen The Sound of Music more than any other film ever made. In fact, my girlfriend and I watched it two weekends ago. Maybe it has to do with the fact that my sister and I were both named after characters in the movie.

Dating back to my youth, I'd have to say The Empire Strikes Back and Raiders of the Lost Ark are the movies I've seen more than any.

Nowadays, I'd say either Casino or Goodfellas.

    Paint Your Wagon.

Backdraft, even though the structure fire scenes are just Hollywood bullshit.
