The movie "Hostile Witness" (1968)

    It was on last night (AMC?) and I had never seen it.

    A courthouse drama with Ray Milland and a veddy British cast.

    Pretty neat twist at end that pays off on the title ... it could be a pretty good remake vehicle for Jodie Foster, say, or Harrison Ford or somesuch. (Just not Will Smith or Kevin Costner, please God.)

    After that, "A Night to Remember" was on. Clearly, Jim Cameron paid tribute to bits and pieces of it in his version of the story, Titanic.
