This map http://www.mapsofwar.com/ind/imperial-history.html shows how the region has changed hands almost as many times as Reggie Sanders over the course of history, and how absurd the notion of sovereign borders are considering the ethnic and religious differences that transcend these abitrary limits.

The Maps of War site is pretty cool. It also has a map on there showing the spread of religion over time as well as one showing how Democratic presidents have sent more U.S. troops to die in wars than Republicans (the Dems get "credit," of course, for both World Wars).

That is an interesting site. Shows how useless the "West's" efforts at nation-building have been.

You get points for the Reggie Sanders analogy

Sam Cassell or Chris Gatling might have worked too. :)
