    Deadspin is really reaching for material. That story is older than a certain SportsJournalists.com poster about whom people make old jokes. It isn't like that one has never been told.

    Ragu raises an interesting point.

    Deadspin doesn't have nearly the impact it had around its launch. His media sources have dried up.

    Makes you wonder if all he can do is a slightly more sophisticated version of your average fanboy looser blog.

    Of course, he probably does the kind of numbers to keep Denton from stopping the checks.

    And the bozo(s) who fill in for him are worse.

    It's just not the same "must see" it was at first. And it lost steam in a hurry.
