I agree. Democrats have been underestimating the Teabaggers from jump. They still continue to make that mistake.

 

1. Bachmann will not get near the Republican nomination.
2. If perchance she somehow got it, she'd get clobbered in the general.
Once she gets close scrutiny, Bachmann will evaporate. She's Sarah Palin with more smarts but less chest.

I was definitely among those who was rooting for Obama over Hillary in 2008 because I thought he was the more beatable candidate. In hindsight, I wish Hillary had kicked his ass.

The be careful what you wish for is right. If Bachmann is the nominee and the economy is in the shitter, she could win. I don't think she will, but democrats should be very careful about rooting for one of the "extreme" candidates to win the primaries.

 

Again: Am I the one who thinks every GOP candidate is the "second coming of Hitler"? You never answered.

 

No. Hitler fixed the economy. No Republican has a plan for that.
