And that message might be: "A dong too far."

In the early '80s there was a 3-foot dildo in the Dodgers clubhouse. During gang TV interviews with all of the boom mics being used, one tall, blond, left-handed pitcher would slide this thing into the pack. And it had call letters on it: PNS

Three feet? That's quite a boom.

I really want to make a "see the Dodgers are giant d!cks" joke but that story is just too good to let my Giants fandom take over.

During the 18-inning game on Sunday night/Monday morning, the Cubs sent three starting pitchers to the plate as pinch-hitters. Other times, during super-long games, teams choose to put the next-day starter in relief because they don't have anyone else remaining and they bump his start back a few days. Why should a team have to play one man short?

As Heyman noted, it's pretty common practice for next day starters to not go to the ballpark. Sure, the scenario you rolled out can happen, but it's a rarity. Obviously there is a lot more to this story that we don't yet know bc suspending a guy in that instance really fucks the team.

EDIT: dark knight was partying till 4 am and then played a full round of golf and then developed a migraine. Haha. Cocaine is a helluva drug

Matt Harvey Was Out Partying Until 4 a.m. Before Skipping Game
