Shanahan's a complete divot, who would be on a hot seat of some kind if it weren't for his being buddies with Bowlen.
  3. Simon needs to get over not getting a response to his resume from Yahoo.

Does Shanahan still have good will left over from the Super Bowls or do people now believe Elway and TD had more to do with that success than the head coach did?

Shanahan and Bowlen are very good friends, which means the axe isn't going to fall for a while.

The fact Yahoo eliminated the passage from the story - effectively admitting fault- does not bode well for Yahoo if Shanahan presses on with a lawsuit.

That's the only thing saving Shanahan. His personnel moves have been a disaster.

Signing Keary Colbert didn't help. Trust me on this one.

Your statement is totally unrelated to the point.

    Obviously he'll be fine.

Cole is one of the best NFL writers around... I get the feeling Yahoo did this just to make Shanahan go away...

    We'll see.

Lawyer quotes certainly portend something more protracted.
