    I've given this some thought ... gotta go with the Mendelbaums.

    Greatest one-off character had to be Elaine's father. According to the DVD commentary, they wanted him to be a recurring character, but Lawrence Tierney was such a nutjob no one wanted to work with him again.

    But it was a funny episode so it's hard to hate on the Maestro.

    The Maestro was quirky enough to be interesting.

    Among multiple-episode actors, I'll say Stu and Jay from NBC.

    That's a decent choice though they were funny for the way they talked. One of them, can't remember which, sounded a bit like French Stewart.
