The latest run at Tony K...

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by Vic Mackey, Sep 6, 2006.

  1. hmm... i just saw this column... interesting.... i just had dinner at tony's house. i'm gonna write a column for friday's newspaper about kornheiser....

conlin is a good guy. he doesn't do sports reporters anymore because i believe he spends most of his time with his wife and he's somewhat retired. plus, i think they only let one fat guy in the outside chair at a time...

Nice piece. It came off as a subtle warning to someone Conlin obviously respects.

  3. Paging slappy.
There IS a little shot at Mitch buried in this otherwise light and funny column.

I thought it was a very good read... Kornheiser is now a media superstar and Conlin offers very good insight...

People wonder why circulation is plummeting.

I guarantee the average reader could not give two shits about Tony K. being a Schaapaholic.

The average reader quit reading about 10 years ago, with the invention of internet porn

Can they not watch porn and still make time for the newspaper?

Newspapers, one of the few industries still trying to tap the LCD market. Most of the growth industries in bed with advertising go for affluence. Huh.
