    Nope. But I think in the wave of the social movement Collins rides, his betrayal of this woman is seen as merely part of the difficult life a gay athlete is forced to live and thus not really his fault.

    I agree. Not that Collins wasn't an asshole but if you want kids and get strung along for a decade into your mid-30s, you've got to take some of the blame, too.
