I wanna be Bubbler's FB friend! (Unless I already am but can't match names with SJ handles :D)

That's usually what happens. Occasionally, though, you re-connect with someone and either a friendship gets rekindled or you become closer than you were in high school (or in my case, middle school).

I think Mikey's still not on Facebook. He's probably still in his version of a man cave watching Saved By The Bell: The College Years in his Scooby Doo underoos eating Cocoa Puffs.

I'm still not on facebook... perhaps this means I'm not a man?

True on all points. It's a more mature MySpace, but that's not saying much at all.

I find FB very useful for networking and such, and I know coworkers of mine who post links to their stories and others who use it to promote our paper with video links and such.

I joined a year or so ago to stay in touch with a handful of old friends. A small pack of former co-workers found and "friended" me. I like all these people and don't want to be rude to any of them, but ... I'm a little uneasy with work people and non-work people mingling. So, FB veterans: Can Independent George and Relationship George coexist on the same Facebook page?

There are plenty more. Of my six best friends and email-chain buddies, only me and one other are on FB. Three of them couldn't care less and one is afraid of all his looney ex-girlfriends finding him.

As someone who swore not to get on Facebook and is now on it I like it for one reason... I can connect with all my cousins and family in another state that I don't get to talk to very often. It's nice to be back in touch with them since my mother continues to forget to give me their e-mails and such.
