    I believe -- I can't find any links but I do recall reading it -- that as part of the settlement, the Spirits owners (or their heirs) get some kind of first dibs, sweetheart bidding rights or approval rights over ANY NBA franchise intending to set up operations in the St. Louis area, which supposedly is the main reason there has never been even a whisper about moving a team there (by relocation or expansion) in the last 30 years.
