The Jones: a profile on how he does what he does so well

  1. A good, long read.
    I would be intimidated as hell trying to tackle a piece on a man who writes as well as Jones. This guy did a good job.

    Yeah, the story's crazy good. Crazier? The guy who wrote it--he's just a student.

    Oh, Things That Carried Him should be required reading for all. His book, Out of Orbit, is also awesome.

    My God, that was a fantastic story. That was one of the first Jones pieces I'd ever read.

    Pretty good resume for a student as well.

    His sports pieces have appeared in The Globe and Mail, The Kansas City Star, National Post, Soccer 360 magazine and on CBCSports.ca.

    All I can add to this great story is I have been to the Elgin Street Diner, where they eat at the end of the story. Great place for 24-hour eating in Ottawa.
