The "I'm feeling lucky" button costs Google $110 million per year

    I'm not feeling sorry for them, of course, but I found that interesting. They're obviously making enough money, but how many other companies would rip that button off their site if they knew it would make them $110 million more a year.</a>

    Instead of clicking on whatever choice Google gives you, clicking on "I'm feeling lucky" goes directly to the first Web site on Google's list.

    Hence, "I'm feeling lucky."

    The "I'm Feeling Lucky" button is brilliant.

    I use it all the time.

    Google's point of course is that every time someone uses it and gets directed to the website in question, they've lost ad revenue and they don't really care.

    The greatest "I'm feeling lucky" button thing comes when you type in "French Military Victories."
