    KNOXVILLE — Six former Tennessee players join defensive end Robert Ayers, the only drafted former Volunteer, with hopes of making it in the NFL as free agents.

    Colquitt and Taylor will try to find a roster spot with the Denver Broncos, Briscoe with the Washington Redskins, Willingham with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arian Foster with the Houston Oilersand Ramon Foster with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

    Why would a running back sign with the Oilers? Their run-and-shoot won't give him an opportunity to display his skills.
