    You're right.

Because Fredo and his gang are indefensible.

Morally and intellectually bankrupt is probably the best description.

And yet, you have -- twice.

    Nice work.

  3. And you keep confusing your mouth with your asshole. Not so nice.

Oooooh, a stinging, third-grade comeback from Lyman.

Nice work, moron. Although, it is good to see that you've moved up to third-grade insults. Before long our little dipshit will be in middle school. How time flies.

As Piotr brings up, Bush is merely arguing the domino theory. Wars in tiny countries were fought for years because the idea was that if one place became communist, so would its neighbors. Despite discovering this to not be the case, we push forward in Iraq for the same end.

It is argued that if democracy holds root in Iraq a domino effect will occur and Iran, Jordan, etc, will all jump on the democratic bandwagon.

Enough people bought into the domino theory before that they know bringing it out now enough will believe it again.

  6. Yes, and so far, democracy over there has produced a) the Hamas government in Gaza, b) Hezbollah holding a big hand in the Lebanese parliament, c) a Kurdish state in Iraq and militia-dominated government in Baghdad that survives as long as Sadr allows it to do so, d) fake democracy in Pakistan that's hanging by a thread, and e) the current whackadoo president of Iran. You mean people vote for the people they think have their interests most immediately at heart? What could they be thinking?

For this road show, why not have GWB fly on commercial airlines to project how safe these planes are and have him go through security and everything. Great photo op.

One general truth about wars is that the side whose rheoric is all about how horrible things will be if it loses is in fact the side that's losing.

  9. It certainly beats the first-grade logic you use on this board on an everyday basis. Dipshit.

But what I'm saying is how in the hell does this make sense to anyone?

Iraq wasn't a player in the terrorist game. Certainly, there were a few there, but no more than we have here. So, if it wasn't a breeding ground for terrorism in the first place, what are we accomplishing? Wouldn't it have been much more beneficial and much, much easier to set up this democratic government in Afghanistan?

Why Iraq? For the life of me, I don't understand why that question isn't popping up every single day until someone adequately explains the thought process here.

Saddam . . . Daddy #41 . . . et al. Nothing new under the sun. And mental development
remains minimal, with the clown in office.
