The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead cuts 21 jobs

    A mix of layoffs and eliminating open positions. No word on who or how many in the newsroom got the ax.

    Wouldn't you look back at getting shit-canned in Fargo and consider it a blessing?

    Fargo as a city isn't that bad. I've been to worse.

    Interviewed for a spot in 2007 that was never filled. Contacted them again last summer when they posted something... hiring freeze. Good people, decent city if you don't mind the frigid winters.

    Sorry to hear this. It's become all too common in this business.

    The SE was a fairly recent hire or promotion, no?

    ME at my former paper came to Richmond from Fargo.

    Fargo's a perfectly fine city to live in - not like it's Minot - and the paper's always been pretty high-quality.

    Yeah, Nulph was promoted when Jason Miller moved to AME sometime last year.
